Why isn't there any bar code once I confirmed the insertion when using Mail Merge in Microsoft Word?
Using AnexFontsPro with Mail Merge requires the data to be available. If the merge field is not ready, there is no data to encode. Define the merge field and try again.

Is there any human readable description below the bar codes?
Yes. All bar code types except US Postnet comes with bar code fonts with and without human readable text beneath the bar code.

Does AnexFontsPro support all character sets of Code 128?
AnexFontsPro supports all three character sets (A, B and C) to encode full ASCII characters. In general, there is no need to specify which character set to use for encoding. AnexFontsPro determines the optimal combination of these character sets to achieve the minimum size. There are 4 modes of Code 128 encoding:
- Code 128 Auto - Auto select the character sets for optimal width of bar code.
- Code 128 Set A/B - Use only character set A and B. This mode is good for bar code with

human readable text.
- Code 128 Set C - Use only character set C. This mode is only used for numeric data. It is
also designed for bar code with human readable text.
- Code 128 User - Allow user to control the character sets and FNC characters.

Why can't my scanner recognize Code 39 Lowercase?
By default, Code 39 only encodes uppercase. Encodation of lowercase in Code 39 is achieved by means of paired sequences made up of characters $, % or / followed by one of the 26 letters.
If your scanner is capable of interpreting the lowercase encoded in the bar code as two characters, ensure that the scanner is already enabled to decode the lowercase decoding for Code 39. Refer to the scanner manual for the switch to enable lowercase conversion for Code 39.

When should I turn off the property 'CheckDigit'?
Most bar code types require the check character. AnexFontsPro generates the check character for the given data by default. However, you don't need AnexFontsPro to generate the check character under the following conditions:
- Your application has the check character generator.
- Your data has already included the check character. This is common for data obtained from scanners that return bar code data as well as the check character.

Which point size should I use?
AnexFontsPro has standardized all bar code font size to point 12. Font size less than 8 point is not recommended due to possible quality distortion.
