What kind of support will Anex provide?
Our technical support is provided via Phone, Email or Fax. Before you contact us for a technical support, please prepare the information as listed :

Development Environment: e.g. VB4, VB5, VC++, Access, Delphi or other?
Operating system: e.g.  Win95, Win98,  WinNT or other?
Detail description of your question or problem.

Are Anex products Royalty-Free?
Our component products - AnexTools Family and AnexTree are royalty free. Anex grants registered user of the software a royalty free right to redistribute specific files with your applications. The license also grants you the right to use these products to develop applications on one single machine. However, it is your responsibility to ensure that your end users do not use these products for development.

I have tried to distribute AnexTools OCX and when I try to access my application with the control, I receive an error that the object was not found.
The installation at your client machine is successful but the registration of the OCX has failed. This is due to an outdated file in your client machine that causes problems when trying to register the control. This is what you can do:
At the windows\system sub-directory, type C:\windows\system> REGSVR32 xxxxxx.OCX
, where xxxxxx is one of AnexBC, Anx417, AnexDM and AnexMC

When I try to register the AnexTools OCX, I get a message that the registration failed with an error code 0x0000001f.
The problem is due to some of the Microsoft runtime DLL files in your client machine which are outdated. The list of files that are required to be dirstributed with your application are:

If any of the above files in your client machine are outdated, you will need to renew them before you can successfully distribute your application. Feel free to download the latest runtime files here and update to your client machine.

What happens if I am not completely satisfied with the development toolkit  that I have purchased ?   
You can request for a refund within 7 days from the date of purchase. There is a 30% handling fee on all refunds. We strongly recommend customers to evaluate with the full-featured trial kits prior to ordering.

How much will upgrades cost ?
Upgrades are free of charge within the first year of purchase, just send the product serial number to Sales & Marketing and receive free upgrades downloads. After the first year, you will need to pay for the version upgrade.
